Your Stash
The first thing that you should have (other than nail supplies) if you are serious about nail art is a stash! If you don't know what a stash is it's where you keep your supplies. A stash is very important because it not only keeps you organized, it keeps all of your nail supplies safe. Here are some ideas of where you SHOULD keep your stash :
- Dresser drawer
- Night stand
- Hollowed out file cabinet
- Supply closet/bathroom closet
- Bins or organizers
Here are some places where you should NOT keep your stash:
- Any place with warm or hot temperatures (laundry room, garage, etc.)
- Plastic bags (Your polish bottles could break or fall out!)
- Any place with moist conditions (like under your bathroom sink)
It's important not to put your supplies in these conditions. It is especially important to keep nail supplies away from heat because they are EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Also, it's ok to keep your polish in plastic bags as long as they are also in some kind of bin or box. Lastly, make sure to clear away from moist conditions because these harbor bacteria and you don't wanna end up with a foot fungus do you? Over all, do your best to keep your supplies in a dry and tepid place.
